The Portland Camera Club has welcomed photography enthusiasts of all levels since 1899. Meetings are held on Mondays from September through May at the Woodfords Club, 179 Woodford Street in Portland (click for map). We meet to display and discuss photography in a friendly atmosphere. Wednesday Sept 3: PCC Prints Exhibit in Kennebunkport
Dates: from Sept 3 through Sept 30. Location: Graves Memorial Public Library, 18 Main St, Kennebunkport, Maine (map). Exhibit is open during normal library hours.
The PCC Fall Photography Exhibition includes selected contemporary works by current members. The artwork is diverse, ranging from playful to fine art; depiction to abstract. Many of the works are available for purchase. Prints Price List: click here.

Greg Roscoe will describe how PCC print and projected image competitions are run, and how images are evaluated by judges. Following that will be a discussion involving the audience where sample images are displayed and everyone is encouraged to evaluate them and assign them to one of the four categories: Needs Work, Competent, Good, or Excellent.
