The Glennie Nature Competition

The Portland Camera Club will be participating in this year's Glennie Memorial Nature Salon.  The Glennie is a premier, international all-nature club competition of digital images, known for its diversity of subjects which range from animals to botany to landscapes.

All members (dues paid) of the Portland Camera Club may enter up to 3 images. The FIRM deadline is Sunday, February 14, 2021. There are no fees for you to pay, as this is a club based competition. The Portland Camera Club will pay the entry fee.

Submitting Images

These must be nature images based on the PSA rules of nature photography. You can find the definition of nature images and rules here: https://psa-photo.org/index.php?nature-nature-definition (Photographic Society of America website).

Image file requirements:  Format: JPEG (*.jpg).  Image dimensions: 1400px maximum width x 1050px maximum height.  Resolution: 100 ppi.  Color Space: sRGB.  File size is limited to no more than 2 megabytes (2mb). Details are described in the "Image Preparation" section of this page (click here).

All dues-paid members of the PCC may submit up to 3 images. Email your images to pccupload@gmail.com and please put GLENNIE in the Subject line, so your entries do not get confused with Projected Image Competition images. In the body of your email, state which category each image is being entered in (botany, landscape, etc.). Please remember that the deadline is Sunday, Feb 14th!
